The water supply for a landscape
Commercial irrigation is the plumbing that keeps a site's landscape alive: the mainline, the valves, the controller and the drip or spray lines that feed each bed and lawn. A good system is laid out by hydrozone, which means grouping plants with similar water needs onto the same valve so turf and trees don't share a schedule. A poor one waters the paths and drowns some beds while others dry out.

Controllers and backflow
Small sites run well on a Wi-Fi controller that a facilities manager can check from a phone. Large sites suit 2-wire control, where every valve runs off a single pair of cables. That makes a big site cheaper to wire and easier to extend. Flow sensors watch for the spike a burst pipe causes and shut that zone down before it floods a bed or wastes a night's water.
Backflow prevention is fitted where SA Water requires it, and testable devices are tested every year who holds the backflow testing licence. Our designs follow Irrigation Australia's guide to water-efficient landscape and irrigation Irrigation Australia certification.

Common questions
What is hydrozoning?
Grouping plants with similar water needs onto the same irrigation valve. Turf and trees each get a schedule that suits them, so nothing is watered to suit its thirstiest neighbour.
Can you upgrade an existing system instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. An audit shows which parts are sound. Replacing an old controller with a smart one and adding a flow sensor is usually the best return on a tired system.
Can we control the irrigation remotely?
Yes. Wi-Fi and cloud-connected controllers let a facilities manager adjust or pause schedules from a phone or browser. They can also send an alert when a zone draws more water than it should.
What does a 2-wire irrigation system do?
It runs every valve on the site from one pair of cables instead of a separate wire to each valve. On a large site that cuts trenching and cable, and adding a zone later is simple.
Do you maintain irrigation after installation?
Yes. We check and adjust systems at the start of each season and fix breaks as they come up. It can sit inside a grounds maintenance contract.
