The brief
The site's irrigation was original. Every zone ran on the same schedule, and nobody could say when it last worked properly. The water bill was climbing while garden beds died next to soggy lawn brief.
What we built
We audited every zone against what was really in the ground, then rezoned the system so turf and garden beds run on separate valves zones. The old controller was replaced with a smart unit the facilities manager runs from a phone. A new flow sensor shuts a zone down when it detects a break controller model.
The detail that mattered
The audit. Half the job was finding out what was there. We ran each zone and logged its flow before designing anything, so the new schedules are based on the system as built audit method. Water use before and after: figures.
